Daily oven operation usually focuses on lighting the fire and preparing the base. Once a week, it is worth taking a few minutes to compare the condition of the device. Such an inspection helps to notice the difference between normal baking residues and a change in connection or equipment.
Start with the accessible chamber
On the cold Vitcas outdoor oven, inspect the bottom, the entrance, and visible connections. Mark new chipping, displaced elements, and damp spots. Do not compare the soot's appearance with the previous week if the burning method was different.
Brush with scraper allows cleaning the appropriate oven surface. Check its head and mounting before use. The tool for removing residues should not be used to pry bricks or dig out stable joints.
Check the entrance and equipment
At the Vitcas oven doors, check access to adjustments, closure, and frame position. Inspect the area where the peel and cookware may strike during baking. Repeated contact of the tool with the edge should be eliminated from the work organization.
Dry-fit the accessories without fire. Pay attention to putting down the tool before inserting the next one. If something starts to catch, compare the condition of the entry and the equipment instead of increasing the force of movement.
Note only useful changes
A date, photos of a few points, and a brief description of the differences are sufficient. Separate cleaning from issues that require repair. Do not routinely add that the device is safe if the inspection concerned only visible surfaces.
If a part is loose or a connection has changed, suspend use until the cause is clarified according to device requirements. Preserved notes will help determine when the change occurred. They will also help prepare a list of required materials without buying mortar for every noticed stain.
